Kyme, owner of Theory of Willow, believes that when using recycled materials to create modern furniture and homewares, you transform lifeless timber otherwise destined for landfill or the fireplace, into something unique and stylish, ultimately giving the recycled timber a "third life" whilst bringing its story and history to your space.
Based on Phillip Island (around 90min from Melbourne CBD), Kyme sources and salvages his materials both locally and state wide.
Kyme's passion and thus material of choice is reclaimed recycled timbers, which he uses along with other materials such as furniture grade plywoods, metals and stone (if required) and also new quality timbers, to create his unique pieces.
Kyme collaborates closely with his clients, discussing and designing projects that fit their vision and budget in order to acheive a truly bespoke experience.
Pieces range from small shelving and storage solutions to large custom built installations for private or commercial use, along with ANY other furniture and homeware items you may require.
Anything is possible! Please express your ideas, as Kyme is passionate about making all ideas a reality.
Kyme is a qualified furniture maker with many years experience working within the woodworking and joinery industry, a passion he inherited as a 10th generation woodworker in his family heritage.
Feel free to send through any enquiries or ideas, Kyme would love to hear from you.
Projects can be delivered Australia wide. No one is out of reach.
